Several years ago we began to challenge brother C.L. Thomas to consider joining the preacher training faculty of Sunset International Bible Institute. We are thrilled to announce that brother Thomas has accepted our challenge and will begin his new ministry with us as of July 1, 2015.
C.L. Thomas brings unique qualities and gifts to enhance the effectiveness of ministry training. He is a dynamic preacher but also a scholarly teacher who is sound in faith. His positive experience in evangelism and growing congregations will help to equip future preachers and missionaries for their task of expanding the borders of the Kingdom.
Brother Thomas graduated from Sunset with a Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree in 2000. Since then, he has received Masters Degrees in Ministerial Leadership and Christian Apologetics and is enrolled in a PhD program in Apologetics. His advanced studies are preparing him to challenge the presumptions of an increasingly skeptical generation and prepare God's people with a credible defense of faith. He has been a favorite keynote speaker at the Sunset Vision Workshop for the past three years. As a part of a world-wide training ministry, brother Thomas and his family will need the financial support of our brotherhood.
