Dear Friends,
Our dear brother, Victor Ellison, long-time esteemed faculty member at Sunset International Bible Institute, passed away Tuesday evening following two months in the intensive care unit at Covenant Hospital. He fought a good fight and kept the faith and now he has finished his race. A grateful Administration, Faculty, Staff and Student Body of SIBI extend our prayers and sympathy to his wife Debbie and son Wesley. This school and our brotherhood is both saddened and diminished by the untimely death of a great teacher and preacher. His place here on earth will be very difficult to fill but we are thankful that he is now in the place that our Lord has prepared for him.
There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon, May 19th, in the auditorium of the Sunset Church of Christ, Lubbock, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:30-7:00 at the Venue on Broadway, 2202 Broadway St, Lubbock.
We know that many may not be able attend so we will have the service available here.
