Make a Lasting Impression

How do we show our appreciation and respect for missionaries who have unselfishly given so much of themselves? One way is to provide them a permanent place in our Missions Memory Plaza, located in our World Missions Center.

Our World Missions Center is now officially complete, thanks to the generous donations of a number of partners.  It is the home of our School of Missions, International Division, World Translation Center, Advancement Department and our new Hall of Missions History.

Not only is the interior building finished and occupied by faculty and staff, the exterior and grounds are also completed in phase two. This phase includes a beautiful Missions Memory Plaza at the front of the facility. Great missionaries in our brotherhood are honored, with their names and mission fields engraved in capstones atop a decorative wall or in a special section of our brick walkway.

Pictures are included below. It's not too late to help with your brick for those you want to honor.

Update: You may be wondering what Phase II includes? It includes a memory garden honoring missionaries for their ministry in the mission fields of the world and it provides a means for honoring, recognizing, and remembering special people in our lives. The curved wall is capped with capstones engraved with missionaries’ names and their contributions to missions. The brick plaza (between the curved wall and the building) features engraved bricks that honor and remember special people in our lives. We have begun laying bricks with a special section designated for current and past Sunset elders and preachers. Come see and experience the new plaza. It is exciting! There is plenty of room for many more bricks, so purchase your brick while there is still room available. A very few capstones on top of the wall are available, but a new section of capstones is open to honor missionaries on the south side of the building.

If you wish to sponsor a missionary , you may identify a missionary and sponsor him/her. Donors may honor of a favorite missionary for a donation of $500. Download our brochure for more information about how to order a “Missionary Stone” or “Missions Partner Brick” or fill out the form below and we will contact you about the details.
