The Worthington Church of Christ, located in the east end(high growth area) of Louisville, KY is initiating a search for a Minister to begin serving in summer 2024. Our current Minister of almost 40 years will be retiring in 2024.

The Minister would have responsibility for Sunday morning adult bible class/worship and Wednesday evening bible class. Pre-pandemic, attendance on Sunday mornings was 50+ consistently, post-pandemic average is about 30.

The current members seek a Minister who will help us serve our growing area, with the hope that we grow numerically and impact our current members and this community spiritually. Input from members on desired qualities include; grounded in the truth, creates original lesson content with lessons applicable to the congregation members, engages in our community, great people skills and a desire to help others. The Congregation does not currently have Elders, but is blessed to have a group of men willing to lead.

We can provide a competitive full-time salary that is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. The compensation package could include a 3 bedroom, 2 bath unfurnished house within 5 minutes of the church building.
